Heidi Hill

Heidi Hill struggled with endometriosis symptoms of progressing severity for many years before finally receiving a diagnosis at the age of 29. After multiple failed treatments before an official diagnosis, she found a diagnosis and relief with surgery. Finding the ERC and Nancy’s Nook in 2012 gave her the support and information she needed to seek further care when symptoms began to reemerge. She was able to have endometriosis excised as well as treatment for other gynecological issues. Pelvic physical therapy helped her body retrain from years of unrelenting pain. She wanted to help others as she had been helped and began sharing research about topics pertaining to endometriosis in Nancy’s Nook. Going from the point of almost not being able to work at all to being able to work and even return to school would not have been possible without the help from others. Have hope!
